Configurazione di test

Per i nostri test abbiamo utilizzato il seguente hardware.

• Alimentatore: ThermalTake 420w ActivePFC
• Processore: Intel Pentium 4 2.4ghz 800FSB
• Scheda Madre: Abit IC7-g bios 1.4
• Memorie: 2x256 Kingmax DDR466 TinyBGA Color Module
• Scheda grafica: MSI GeForce FX 5900 Ultra 256mb
• Hard-Disk: Maxtor DM9 80gb 8mb cache
• Lettore DVD Lite-On 16x e DVD-RW Lite-On SOHW-832S
• Sistema Operativo: Windows XP Professional + SP1
  Direct X 9.0c

Questi invece i benchmark che abbiamo usato.

• SiSoft Sandra 2004 – Memory Bench
• FutureMark Pc Mark 2004
• ScienceMark 2.0
• Rightmark Memory Analyzer 3.42
• 3DMark 2001SE (1024x768 NoAA)

Il sistema è stato formattato e sono stati installati solamente i driver e gli aggiornamenti essenziali; ogni test è stato eseguito 3 volte e si è preso come risolutato il valore medio tra le singole sessioni.
