The basic PCB layout is similar to the previous FX 5900 Ultra, and also shares the "2 PCI slot" design. Although the card is pretty much the same in length, it is a good deal lighter, due to the heatsink design used. The memory chips on the front side are covered with a simple piece of aluminium - it is essentially a "heat spreader". The core chip has something a lot more substantial though, with the heatsink being almost CPU-like.
