Taipei, Taiwan December 2003- Gigabyte Technology introduces a new and innovative cooling solution to the market, the Gigabyte 3D Cooler. The cooler comes with an eye-catching LED light display and is light weight, attractive and dedicated to maximum cooling and minimal noise output. With its patent-pending copper base design, the Gigabyte’s 3D Cooler is compatible with a variety of platforms from the P4, K8 to K7 and is quickly and easily installed without the use of tools. With such unique features, the Gigabyte 3D Cooler is the superior cooling choice for your system.

Designed for Maximum Cooling
The 3D Cooler is comprised of a heat sink and copper base, functioning in both thermal conductivity and transfer, and a central blower that actively dissipates heat. The unique central blower structure of the cooler allows for cool air to enter both from the top and the base of the cooler as well as for heat to escape outwards in a 360゚fashion. As a result, optimal cooling of the CPU is achieved along with secondary cooling of surrounding components. The heat sink structure is composed of high density fins that dramatically decrease the overall weight of the heat sink while increasing the surface area available for highly effective dissipation of heat. Along with high density fins, the heat sink contains embedded heat pipes which have high heat transfer capabilities (10 times greater than copper) due to its two-phase heat transfer mechanism. The blower also uses a two ball bearing system which can be operated with a long life expectancy of up to 70,000 hours for reliable and lasting cooling of the CPU.
