Intel riduce la gamma delle CPU

Oggi Intel ha annunciato la fine produzione di alcune sue CPU che lasceranno spazio ai nuovi arrivi sul mercato:

  • 2.66GHz boxed e OEM Pentium 4 (S-Spec SL6PE, D-1 stepping); orders will be accepted until June 4; shipments will continue until November 5, 2004 (box) and October 14, 2005 (OEM).

  • 1.50GHz/1MB, 1.90GHz/1MB and 2GHz/2MB box and OEM Xeon MP (S-Spec SL6GZ, SL6H2, SL66Z; all A stepping); orders will be accepted until July 16; shipments will continue until January 14, 2005 (box) and April 13, 2007 (OEM).

  • 2.40GHz Mobile Pentium 4 (S-Spec SL723, D-1 stepping), 1.40GHz Pentium M (S-Spec SL6F8, SL6F5, B-1 stepping), 1.20GHz LV Pentium M (S-Spec SL723, B-1 stepping), 1.20GHz, 900MHz ULV Pentium M (S-Spec SL6NJ, B-1 stepping); orders will be accepted until June 7; shipments will continue until November 15, 2004 (box) and August 15, 2005 (OEM).
