Con il seguente comunicato stampa, OCZ ci informa dell'uscita delle sue nuove RAM per amatori delle prestazioni estreme del PC. Si chiamano DDR PC-4800 Platinum Elite Edition e adottano chip Samsung TCCD operanti con timings di default 2-2-2-5 alla frequenza di 200 MHz (400 MHzeffettivi) della modalità DDR400. Quando forzati in configurazione DDR600, quindi a 300 MHz di clock (600 MHz effettivi) questi moduli operano con timings di accesso pari a 2.5-4-4-10, ottimi per la frequenza raggiunta.
